We are very proud of this valuable service we provide to the community. Individuals are ecstatic that we bridged the gap between DDD and UBER/Lyft to provide safe, efficient transportation alternatives to individuals. We charge a flat rate starting at $3.00 per mile regardless of the rate charged by UBER/Lyft . (This means that when the UBER ride costs more, we don’t ask you for the difference.) There's much to see here. So, take your time, look around, and learn all there is to know about us. We hope you enjoy our site and take a moment to drop us a line.
*Attain and Gain is a payment intermediary we are not UBER/Lyft . You will be using UBER/Lyft directly and are using their community of drivers.
You or your Support Coordinator will reach out to us, and we will confirm receipt that your plan is approved. We will then reach out to you via your preferred contact method and assist you with setup.
Uber will send an invite email to all the email addresses you provided.
Once linked YOU are in control. You don’t need to call anyone. Just use UBER/Lyft
You can order UberX rides. Make sure Attain and Gain is selected as the payment option when confirming your ride (it will say Attain and Gain right above the Confirm UberX button).
There is zero out of pocket expense to you. Every week you will have an opportunity to review all trips and sign-off on their accuracy. If everything looks good you will sign off and click finish. If a ride looks questionable feel free to call us at 973-241-3088 to discuss any issues. You can download a signed copy of your trips for your records, we also store them so you can reach out to us if you need a copy.
Your ride budget does not include tipping. Feel free to tip out of pocket if you wish.
If you or the UBER/Lyft Driver cancel, order another UBER/Lyft . We will deal with the cancellations after the ride is completed. You will NEVER be charged for a cancelled ride. When in doubt cancel and start over. Safety first.
If you run out of miles in the middle of the day you have our assurance that we never pause or terminate service in the middle of the day. We will absorb the cost of any overruns. Everyone gets home, period.
You will receive a weekly summary of your current mile usage. This is so that you can plan and track your service usage.
Attention Support Coordinators:
Please take note of the following procedures for consumers using our payment
intermediary UBER/LYFT services:
(1) ATTAIN & GAIN sends individuals and or their caregivers regular usage reports.
(2) Often individuals use up their miles too quickly and/or exceed their allotted miles.
(3) If ATTAIN & GAIN notices that a consumer is close to or actually has exceeded
their allotted mileage, ATTAIN & GAIN will notify the Support Coordinator as soon
as practicable.
(4) It is the responsibility of the Support Coordinator to obtain additional mileage for
the individual.
(5) The Support Coordinator has seven (7) days from the date the (s)he receives
notice from ATTAIN & GAIN to provide ATTAIN & GAIN with a revised plan with
additional miles at the rate determined by ATTAIN & GAIN.
(6) If the Support Coordinator does not provide ATTAIN & GAIN with an approved
plan for new miles within a week of being contacted by ATTAIN & GAIN, the
individual’s services will be paused as of 11:59 P.M. on such seventh day and
until such time a correct plan is received.

Attention Support Coordinators:
Please take note of the following procedures for consumers using our payment
intermediary UBER/LYFT services:
For renewals when an individual’s SDR is expiring:
(1) ATTAIN & GAIN will use its best efforts to reach out to the Support Coordinator
within 30 days prior to the expiration of the SDR, but no later than fourteen (14)
days prior.
(2) ATTAIN & GAIN will provide the Support Coordinator with the new rate per mile
for the new plan based on the client’s prior usage. ATTAIN & GAIN can provide
substantiation for the new rate upon request.
(3) It is up to the Support Coordinator to obtain approval of the individual’s plan at
the new rate.
(4) The Support Coordinator must submit to ATTAIN & GAIN a new, approved plan
by the date of the expiration of the old plan.
(5) If ATTAIN & GAIN does not receive an approved plan by the date the old
plan expires, the individual will no longer be able access UBER/LYFT using
ATTAIN & GAIN as of 11:59 P.M. on the date the plan expires.
(6) The individual will be paused until such time ATTAIN & GAIN receives a correct
plan in place.
